Starting your days with the ‘ping’ of saccharine-sweetened microwavable porridge and a sense of dissatisfaction? Stop. It’s time to make time for breakfast (it is National Breakfast Week after all).

We all know eating a proper, nutritious meal in the morning can do you all sorts of good. According to the NHS: ‘Eating breakfast has long-term health benefits. It can reduce obesity, high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes.’

But breakfast can be a whole lot of fun too if you look beyond the cereal and get creative in the kitchen. Not got the hours before work? Check out our al-desko efforts for the #HealthyBreakfastClub: proof that nutritionally-balanced, tasty and Instagrammable brekkies can be whipped up in minutes in the office.

Here are some pictures which have been inspiring us each morning. We hope they encourage you to get creative too! Tag @healthymagdaily in your Instagram pictures or, tweet them to us instead.
