With 86 per cent of mums saying that Mother’s Day is important to them, according to a survey, it’s time to spoil yours this year. Try treating her to an experience day to guarantee quality time together – we’ve rounded up three of our favourites:

For afternoon tea with a twist: Hallmark Hotel
Head down the rabbit hole for the Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea at a Hallmark Hotel. Offered in each of their 28 hotels across the country, the afternoon tea experience includes Alice in Wonderland-inspired treats such as edible flowers, ‘Eat me’ popping candy cupcakes and ‘Drink me’ potions.
The Hallmark Hotels Mad Hatter Afternoon Tea is priced from £14.95 per person. 

For an indulgent experience: Thai Square Spa
Situated a stone’s throw from Charing Cross station, this spa is an intimate, serene spot based in a converted Victorian baths. Thai Square Spa offers a ‘Mum and Me’ package of treatments for the pair of you, including a 45-minute facial, a 30-minute back, neck and shoulder massage, plus an hour in the spa’s ‘Sen Space’, a bathing area which includes a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and ice fountain. To finish, sip a glass of fizz or Thai herbal tea in the relaxation area.
The Thai Square Spa Mum & Me package is priced at £270 for two people.

For a traditional Sunday roast: Boringdon Hall
This impressive venue in Devon is offering a special three-course Mother’s Day lunch, served in The Gallery restaurant. Finish off with a walk in the hotel grounds, or settle down by the fire in the Great Hall for a game of family charades.
The Boringdon Hall Mother’s Day Sunday lunch is priced £34.95 per adult and £14.95 per child.

For a breath of fresh air: Rabbit
Food always tastes better when you work for it – that’s Rabbit restaurant’s philosophy, anyway. The South London eatery is hosting a morning of foraging in Battersea Park before a well-deserved Sunday lunch at their Kings Road restaurant location. Perfect for mums who love getting active outdoors!
Mother’s Day at Rabbit is priced at £28 per person for Sunday lunch and an extra £20 for foraging.
