I have read about ginger, I have also got gallstones, I now know I must not use ginger, but in Chinese recipes they use ginger in a lot of them, if I use a chinese recipe will it be ok to leave the ginger out. or what do I use instead, I cannot have spicies because of my stomach. Thanks for your help.

I have often used fresh ginger in my tea and sometimes chew a fresh piece. I am now concerned......(should I be?) .....about taking it, as I take a low dose aspirin in the evening.....never knew about this
