Paws for thought

A question mark hangs over the regulation of hypnotherapists in the UK after a cat became accredited. Regional current affairs presenter Chris Jackson registered his pet George with three industry bodies including the United Fellowship of Hypnotherapists (UFH). The UFH welcomed the investigation and admitted the mistake, which it said has since been corrected. Phew – otherwise George’s clients would definitely have needed a get-out claws…

Toddler tops the class

While many 18-month-olds are learning their first words, a Berkshire toddler has just been accepted by high IQ society Mensa. With his 600 plus word vocabulary, testers say Oscar Wrigley’s IQ was akin to that of Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking. We’ll look forward to seeing him on a future episode of The Krypton Factor.
