Healthy weight loss not only takes time, but is the only effective way of losing the pounds and keeping them off

Every day it seems another celebrity celebrates the transformative results of their weight-loss battles. Recently, Dawn French, James Corden and Ruth Jones have all revealed slimmer, fitter, leaner bodies. They have each lost the weight over a long period of time by eating healthily and mindfully. Here at Healthy we are heartened by their stories – it proves what we have always known and share with our readers: healthy weight loss not only takes time, but is the only effective way of losing the pounds and keeping them off. It requires a commitment to eating well and exercising forever. That means saying ‘yes’ to a longer, better quality of life.   1. Here, here! Well said. I’ve been writing about losing weight after having a baby and many people I speak to are obsessed with drastic diets which drop the weight fast. Particularly popular seem to be diets that cut out entire food groups and suggest intense exercise without carbs…….Just got a Healthy subscription so look forward to reading more balanced ideas…..!

  2. I couldn’t agree more. I have had issues with my weight my entire life and am finally back on track and feeling better than ever. here’s to the next 54 years, lol!! =D
